5.1.6. Removal and installation of a radiator of the cooling system

Details of installation of a radiator on petrol models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove protection of a case (1).
  2. Empty the cooling system (see the Head the Current leaving and service).
  3. Remove fixing clamps (2) and washers (3).
  4. Turn out a bolt (4) fastenings to a radiator (6) lines (5) of cooling of ATF.
  5. Disconnect from a radiator (6) the line of a cooling path (7).
  6. Disconnect the line (12) of cooling of ATF from a radiator (6).
  7. Remove assembly of the fan with the viscous coupling (8) (see the Section Removal and installation of assembly of the fan of the cooling system), - the connecting nut of a krylchatka has right-hand cutting.
  8. Disconnect from a radiator (6) lines of a cooling path (9 and 10).
  9. Remove a casing of the fan (11) (see the Section Removal and installation of assembly of the fan of the cooling system).
  10. Disconnect the line (5) of cooling of ATF from a radiator (6).
  11. Turn out fixing bolts (13) and remove basic arms (14).
  12. Disconnect from a radiator (6) the tire of grounding (15).
  13. Remove a radiator (6).
  14. Installation is made upside-down, - track that the directing pins from below rested in rubber dampers on a cross beam of a front.
  15. In conclusion check the cooling system for existence of signs of development of leaks.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open a cowl and record it in vertical position.
  2. Remove panels of finishing of a head of cylinders.
  3. Remove a decorative front grille (see the Head Kuzov).
  4. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
  5. Remove protection of a case (And).
  6. Empty the cooling system (see the Head the Current leaving and service).
  7. Remove the top cross beam of a front (1) and take it aside assembled with the lock of fixing of a cowl.
  8. Disconnect basic arms (3), release fixing collars (4) and remove overflow lines of a cooling path (2). Estimate a condition of lines and fixing collars, in case of need prepare replacement.
  9. Remove assembly of the fan with the viscous coupling (see the Section Removal and installation of assembly of the fan of the cooling system).
  10. Release fixing collars and remove air ducts (6 and 7), - at once to an opening zakuporta in a cooler in order to avoid hit in them cooling liquid, estimate a condition of sealing rings, in case of need prepare replacement.

Presence is explained air sleeves of a small amount of oil by normal functioning of system of ventilation of a case and is admissible.

  1. Disconnect lines of cooling of ATF (17 and 18), - prepare for collecting the spilled liquid, - and connect them among themselves by means of a piece of a hose with an internal diameter of 12 mm.
  2. Disconnect a hose of a cooling path (9), - check a condition of fixing collars, in case of need prepare replacement.
  3. Remove clamps (10) of fastening of a radiator (11).
  4. Turn out bolts (12).
  5. Having lifted a radiator, separate it from the lower cross beam of a front and take from a motive compartment.
  6. Install the screen of protection of the radiator/condenser of the air conditioning system (the metal or plastic plate of 400x680x1 mm in size equipped with a suitable basic arm).
  7. Installation is made upside-down. Track that the directing pins (13) got to rubber plugs through passage on the lower cross beam of a front, also make sure of correctness of landing of fasteners (14) and rubber dampers (15) on the condenser (16).
  8. In conclusion check the cooling system for existence of signs of development of leaks.

  7. Disconnect hoses of a cooling path (3 and 4), - check a condition of fixing collars, in case of need prepare replacement.
  8. Disconnect lines of cooling of ATF (5 and 6), - prepare for collecting the spilled liquid, - and connect them among themselves by means of a piece of a hose with an internal diameter of 12 mm.
  9. Remove clamps (8) of fastening of a radiator (1).
  10. Having lifted assembly of a radiator (1) with the condenser (2), separate it from the lower cross beam of a front.
  11. Turn out six-sided bolts (10) and take a radiator (1) from a motive compartment.
  12. Installation is made upside-down. Track that the directing pins (9) got to rubber plugs through passage on the lower cross beam of a front, also make sure of correctness of landing of fasteners (11) and rubber dampers (12).
  13. In conclusion check the cooling system for existence of signs of development of leaks.
