 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Having allowed the engine to cool down, carefully open a cooling system cover, - the cover can have bayonetny (And) or carving (In) a design: the first is applied on petrol models, the second - on diesel models. It makes sense to dwell upon the principle of functioning of the carving cover used on the models equipped with the series 612 engine in more detail. The cover opens in two steps: at increase in pressure in system to the first control value the lower reducing valve which is built in in a cover opens, providing access to the internal camera of a cover. At further increase in pressure the top reducing valve works and dumping of pressure is carried out through special ventilating drillings in a mouth of a broad tank, - surplus of a gas phase comes to ring bore of a mouth and further via the final nipple in the atmosphere. Such design allows to avoid overflow of a broad tank.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Connect a nozzle (4) with a cover (3) to a tester (2).
  2. Connect a cover of the cooling system (5) to a nozzle (4).
  3. Having created the required pressure (see Specifications), make sure of serviceability of operation of the reducing valve (6), - the valve has to nestle densely on a rubber sealant (shooter) and rise slightly at a spring otpuskaniye.
  4. Replace a faulty cover.

Carving cover of two-level type

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Connect to a tester (2) a nozzle (3a).
  2. Screw on a nozzle a cooling system cover (5a).
  3. Having pumped up the required pressure (see Specifications), make sure of serviceability of operation of both reducing valves.
  4. Replace a faulty cover.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The conditions of components of the cooling system revealed in the course of check (see the Head the Current leaving and service) the damaged hoses are subject to replacement without fail.
  2. Merge liquid from the cooling system (see the Head the Current leaving and service).
  3. Weaken and take aside fixing collars. Accurately remove a hose from reception branch pipes. If the hose does not give in to removal, try to rotate it, trying not to damage a branch pipe which breakage is fraught with considerable expenses, - remember that branch pipes of a radiator are among enough fragile components! If the hose does not give in, it needs to be cut, - the cost of a new hose is incomparable to costs of acquisition of a replaceable radiator. Before cutting a hose, prepare the replaceable element suitable on a standard size.
  4. At installation of a new hose at first put on it collars then establish a hose on branch pipes. If collars of coupling type initially were established, replace them with screw/worm. For simplification of installation of rigid hoses moisten internal surfaces of their ends with soap water or heat in hot water, - in order to avoid stratifications do not lower a hose in the boiling water.
  5. After installation of a hose check correctness of its laying in a motive compartment for branch pipes. Establish collars for the ends of a hose, having brought them for flaring of branch pipes, and tighten them.
  6. Fill the cooling system (see the Head the Current leaving and service).
  7. Start the engine and make sure of lack of signs of development of leak of cooling liquid from the served knot.
