The switches and governing bodies located on a steering column and a steering wheel

The combined understeering switch

Switching of the modes of functioning of headlights, alarm system driving beam

Activation of driving beam in the constant mode) is possible only at the turned-on passing beam of headlights (see below).

By means of the understeering switch a transfer of head headlights from the mode of passing beam in the mode of driving beam can be made, - wring out the lever from yourself, - automatically on an instrument guard the corresponding control lamp of a characteristic blue luminescence has to light up (see the Section Combination of Devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators). For cutoff of driving beam return the lever to a starting position.

Also the possibility of the alarm system is provided by driving beam: the alarm system is carried out by procrastination of the lever of the understeering switch on itself and irrespective of the chosen position of the handle of the choice of the mode of functioning of external lighting fixtures (see below).

The alarm system can be made by driving beam even at the switched-off ignition.

Activation of indexes of turns

Activation of indexes of turns is made by push-up of the lever of the understeering switch in the corresponding direction. The lever is transferred up or down, to dependences of the chosen direction of change of course.

When translating the lever in extreme (before click) the top/lower situation the corresponding indexes of turns will continue to function until the steering wheel is not returned in rectilinear situation (the terminal switch will work), or so far the lever will not be forcibly returned in neutral situation.

Short-term inclusion of indexes, for example, at intention to replace a lane of the movement is made by easy procrastination of the lever up or down.

Management of functioning of cleaners/washers of a windshield

Activation of cleaners and washers wind and lenses of headlights is possible only at the included ignition (a key in situation 1 or 2).

The choice of the mode of functioning of screen wipers is made by rotation of the rotary handle of the lever of the switch:

0: Vykl

I: The interval mode (duration of a pause is defined by indications of the sensor of a rain, at a stop of the car and opening of a forward door the movement of screen wipers stops for the purpose of prevention of hit of the brushed-away moisture on clothes of the driver/passenger leaving salon)

II: Normal high-speed continuous mode of the movement of screen wipers

III: The high-speed continuous mode of the movement of screen wipers (at a stop of the car there is an automatic switching in the normal mode)

Single operation of screen wipers can be made by short pressing the switch handle.

Activation of supply of the washing liquid is made by pressing the handle of the switch (1) with overcoming a point of resistance, - supply of the washing liquid is followed by several waves of brushes of screen wipers.

At a full stop of the car and open for one of forward doors the interval mode of functioning of screen wipers stops that allows to prevent hit of the moisture which is brushed away by brushes on clothes entering into salon or leaving the driver/passenger's car.

Understeering switch of management of functioning темпостата / systems of variable restriction of speed Speedtronic

The lever switch of management of functioning of a tempostat is located on a steering column above the combined understeering switch (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on the dashboard and a steering column).

The detailed description of the principles of management of functioning of a tempostat is provided in the Section of the Control system of the speed (Tempostat/Speedtronic).

Switch of adjustment of situation/heating of a steering wheel

Adjustment of situation

In order to avoid loss of control over management adjustment of provision of a steering wheel should not be made during the movement at all!

The lever switch of adjustment of provision of a steering wheel is located at the left helmsman columns below than the combined understeering switch (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on the dashboard and a steering column). Adjustment can be made within 30 more minutes after extraction of a key from the ignition lock provided that the driver's door is open.

Include ignition, or open a driver's door.

Adjustment of length of a column is carried out by push-up/procrastination of the lever forward/back. For adjustment of height of provision of a steering wheel the lever should be displaced up or down in the vertical plane.

The chosen provision of a steering wheel is brought in the processor memory along with storing of provision of a driver's seat.

Heating

Heating of a steering wheel functions only in provisions 1 and 2 of the lock of ignition.

The rotary handle of activation of heating of a steering wheel equipped with the built-in control lamp is located on the end of the lever. Turning of the handle in the direction of an arrow (1) leads to activation built in in the segments of a rim of a steering wheel of heating elements upholstered with skin, - the control light-emitting diode is at the same time activated (3). For shutdown of heating turn the handle in an opposite direction.

Automatic shutdown of heating of a steering wheel in its electric circuit is not put.

Understeering switch of management of functioning of the Linguatronic system

The lever switch of management of functioning of the Linguatronic system (voice-activated control by certain functions of comfort) is located on the right on a steering column (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on the dashboard and a steering column).

Voice-activated control is made in German, the description of the principle of action of system is provided in the separate management.

Button of activation of a horn

The button of inclusion of a sound signal is built in a stupichny part of a steering wheel (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on the dashboard and a steering column).

Control panels of the onboard computer / volume control of sounding of the audio system

Control panels are built in a stupichny part of a steering wheel on each side and also switchings of functions of the onboard computer / management the audio system are equipped with push-button switches of the choice of the modes (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on a multipurpose steering wheel). For more details see below.

The switches and governing bodies located on the dashboard

Left panel of switches

Group of switches of adjustment of door rear-view mirrors

External rear-view mirrors have the spherical design allowing to broaden the field of the review.

Heating of mirrors works automatically depending on temperature of external air.

Also function of automatic blackout of rear-view mirrors is provided (both external, and internal) at hit of light of headlights of other transport participating funds of traffic for the sensors which are built in in assemblies of mirrors (ignition has to be included).

Blackout of mirrors is not activated at the included illumination of salon, and also at the choice of the AT reverse gear ("R").

The group of three switches of adjustment of external rear-view mirrors is located in the left top corner of the panel. Adjustment is made by means of the rotor managing director of the switch, directly under which two push-button switches of the choice of the mirror which is subject to adjustment are placed.

Adjustment of door rear-view mirrors

Record in the processor memory of the chosen provision of rear-view mirrors is made along with record of parameters of adjustment of front seats.

The design of system allows to carry out record of parking provision of a rear-view mirror of the right door. Park the car not movably at edge of a pavement and leave ignition included. Make sure that in installations of the on-board computer the corresponding function is activated ("ON") (the MIRROR SETTING WHEN PARKING function in the CONVENIENCE submenu) (see below), adjust a mirror of the right door so that in it curbstone and a back wheel of the car was reflected, then press the button of the appeal to the processor memory and approximately for 3 seconds wring out the rotor switch of control of the electric drive of mirrors down, - the mirror should not measure the situation, otherwise the procedure should be repeated. Now before the parking of the car will enough start to include transfer of a backing ("R") and to press the corresponding button of the selector switch of adjustment of the right door mirror. Return of a mirror to a starting position happens automatically approximately in 10 seconds after switching off of transfer of a backing, at achievement by the speed of the movement of value in 10 km/h, and also at a nazhimaniye on the selector switch of activation of the electric drive of the right door mirror.

Switch of faroomyvatel

Functioning of faroochistitel is obviously possible only at the included ignition.

The push-button switch of activation of faroomyvatel is located in the right top corner of the left panel of switches. By short pressing the button lenses of head headlights under a high pressure the liquid stream for washing of glasses moves.

Switch of the choice of the mode of functioning of external lighting fixtures

The rotary handle of the switch is located in the lower part of the left panel of switches. By means of the switch. the choice of one of the following modes of functioning of external lighting fixtures can be made:

— Lighting fixtures are switched off. If in the on-board computer installation of activation of the mode of running fires of daylight (DRL) is chosen, then start of the engine will lead to automatic activation of running fires (dimensions, passing beam, illumination of registration plate).

In the countries where activation of DRL is accepted legislatively, shutdown of this function should not be made!

— The automatic choice of the mode of functioning of lighting fixtures depending on an illumination condition: marker lights will be activated in position 1 of the ignition key, passing beam of headlights and illumination of registration plate – at the started engine.

Dazzle of the car light of headlights of counter participants of the movement can lead to short-term shutdown of lighting in view of what at the movement in night-time the automatic mode should not be used! Remember also that activation of fog lighting in the automatic mode is not made!

— Activation of marker lights, lamps of illumination of registration plate and illumination of devices.

— Activation near/distant, - depending on the chosen position of the understeering combined switch (see above), - light of headlights.

— Activation of parking fires of the right board of the car.

— Activation of parking fires of the left board of the car.

For activation of fog lights it is necessary to turn the handle in the provision of passing beam () and to delay it on itself to the first fixed situation, - to the left of the switch the top green light indicator has to light up. Procrastination of the handle to the second fixed situation allows to activate also back foggy lamp, - to the left of the switch the top yellow light indicator has to light up.

Delay of switching off of external lighting

Inclusion/switching off and the choice of working installations of function of a delay of switching off of lighting is made through system of the menu of the on-board computer (see below).

After switching off of the engine in night-time the following external lighting fixtures continue to burn:

When opening and the subsequent closing of a door the on-board computer begins a countdown of the chosen delay. After this time lighting is switched off.

Within the next ten minutes this function can be activated repeatedly for what it is enough to open any of doors. If after switching off of the engine any of doors is not open or closed, final shutdown of external lighting will happen in 15 ÷ 60 seconds (depending on the installations entered through the menu of the on-board computer).

For temporary deactivation of function it is necessary to turn after switching off of the engine a key in the ignition lock in situation 0, then in situation 2, then again in situation 0. At the following start of the engine function is again automatically activated.

Onboard illumination

At the included function of onboard illumination unlocking of the car from the DU panel of the uniform lock in night-time leads to activation of the following lighting fixtures:

Shutdown of illumination happens automatically when opening a driver's door (except the repeaters which are built in in mirrors), at inclusion of ignition, and also on the timer at most 40 seconds later. Opening of any of forward doors leads to deactivation only of the repeater of the mirror of the same name.

Regulator of an inclination of optical axes of headlights

The rotary handle of the switch of adjustment of an inclination of optical axes of headlights is located in the left part of the dashboard in close proximity to a steering column (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on the dashboard and a steering column) and has six the fixed situation (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5).

Regulator of an inclination of optical axes of headlights

The switch serves for adjustment of extent of a zone of lighting as passing beam of headlights for the purpose of prevention of dazzle of drivers of passers, and also ahead of the going vehicles.

The regulator has to be installed in the situation corresponding to the number of passengers and extent of loading of the car (see Specifications).

Switch ignition/lock of blocking of a steering column

The lock of ignition has four fixed situation

The lock of ignition is located on the dashboard, to the right of steering to a column (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on the dashboard and a steering column). The key can occupy one of four fixed provisions in the lock:

0: Extraction key/blocking of a steering column

1: Auxiliary consumers of the electric power (parking situation)

2: Ignition is included / the Movement

3: Start of the engine

Situation 0 - blocking of a steering column

The key can be entered into the lock or is taken from it only in this situation. At turn of the ignition key from situation 0 in situation 1 there is an unblocking of a steering column. Besides, to additional to conditions of permission of extraction of a key belong obligatory transfer of the lever of the AT selector to situation "P" and otpuskany pedals of a foot brake.

Blocking the helmsman of a column is carried out automatically in attempt to turn a steering wheel after extraction of a key from the ignition lock.

Blocking the helmsman of a column sometimes brings impossibility to turn a key in the ignition lock. In such situation it is necessary to turn slightly a steering wheel in this or that party (for the purpose of removal of loading), at the same time turning a key in the lock.

Do not take a key from the ignition lock during the movement at all, - it will inevitably lead to blocking of a steering column and loss of control over management!. Take out a key from the lock only after a full stop of the car!

The possibility of adjustment of seats and the helmsman of a column at an open forward door remains during about half an hour more after extraction of a key from the ignition lock.

Situation 1 - parking

In this provision of a key the possibility of functioning of auxiliary consumers of the electric power (the audio system, the lighter, the heater fan, screen wipers, etc.) is provided.

Situation 2 - ignition is included / the movement

The ignition key is in this situation constantly during the movement of the car, and also during the operation of the engine on single turns. On diesel models the turn of a key in situation 2 before start of the engine leads to activation of system of preheat. Electric food of all systems and the additional equipment installed on the car is at the same time provided. At turn of a key from situation 1 situation 2 quickly joins some of the control lamps located on an instrument guard of the car, confirming serviceability of functioning of the corresponding systems (see the Section Combination of Devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators).

Situation 3 - start

At turn of a key in this situation there is an inclusion of a starter. After implementation of start of the engine the key should be released, and it will automatically return to situation 2.

Cowl lock latch otpuskaniye lever

The lever of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl is located under the dashboard to the left of a steering column and is painted in red color.

Switches of blocking of differentials

The group of switches of blocking of differentials is located in the central part of the dashboard over its console section between deflectors of the central air ducts of systems of heating/ventilation of salon. Under switches yellow control light-emitting diodes of inclusion of blocking, from above - red light indicators of functioning of blocking are located (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on the dashboard and a steering column).

2 — the Switch of blocking of interwheel differential of the forward bridge
3 — the Switch of blocking of interwheel differential of the back bridge

4 — Control indicators of inclusion of blocking of differentials (yellow)
5 — Alarm indicators of functioning of blocking (red)

The structure of the transmission line allows to carry out blocking of three differentials in total: interaxal differential in the transfer case and two interwheel differentials (in assemblies of both of bridges).

Blocking can be carried out only in the sequence 1 —› 2 —› 3!

Blocking of differentials allows to optimize transfer of traction effort in cross-country conditions when overcoming water barriers, and also at the movement on snow-covered and silt ice-covered the route. Blocking of differentials also allows to turn off functioning of the ABS and ESP systems in cross-country conditions. Starting with the blocked differentials try not to squeeze out the accelerator pedal sharply.

Blocking of interwheel differential of the forward bridge significantly reduces controllability of the car when passing abrupt turns!

It is necessary to resort to blocking only at the minimum speeds of the movement and in a case. Inclusion of blocking has to be made only on the motionless car.

Blocking of interaxal differential

Inclusion of blocking is made by pressing the lower part of the push-button switch (1) - the yellow control light-emitting diode from below has to light up, and in a combination of devices the control lamp 4-ETS/ESP is activated (see the Section Combination of Devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators). At the same time multipurpose display the warning of shutdown of ABS ("ABS NOT AVAILABLE LOCK SELECTED") is displayed. The red control light-emitting diode over the button of the switch works only after the end of process of blocking of differential, - on a combination of devices control lamps will be activated and, - on the screen of the display the message of "DIFFERENTIAL LOCK" will be highlighted (The differential is blocked).

Activation of blocking of differential leads to automatic shutdown of the ABS, ESP and BAS systems!

After completion of process of blocking of interaxal differential consecutive blocking of interwheel differentials at first of the back, then forward bridge can be made (see below).

Blocking of interwheel differentials

Blocking of interwheel differentials is made by means of individual switches (2) and (3), - at first under the corresponding switch the yellow control light-emitting diode, then (upon completion of blocking process) red from above lights up.

Switching off of blocking of differentials

For blocking shutdown rather repeatedly to press the button of the corresponding switch.

Shutdown of blocking of differentials has to be made as it should be, the return to an order of their inclusion, i.e.: 3 — ›2 —› 1!

Simultaneous shutdown of blocking of all differentials can be made by a nazhimaniye on the button of the switch (1).

Control light-emitting diodes have to go out. Approximately in three seconds of the movement in the usual mode there is an automatic activation of the ESP, BAS and ABS systems (control lamps and will go out), the message of "DIFFERENTIAL LOCK" also has to disappear from the screen of the multipurpose display.

If after implementation of the procedure of shutdown of blocking red control light-emitting diodes over switches do not die away, it is necessary to change slightly insignificant turn of a steering wheel the direction of the movement of the car, - try not to create emergencies on the road.

Switches of console section of the dashboard

Switch of the alarm system

Turning on of the alarm system is made by means of the button located on the center in the top part of console section of the dashboard (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on console section of the dashboard). The button of the switch is standardly equipped with the built-in alarm lamp with the pictogram representing two triangles entered each other.

Switch of the alarm system

Turning on of the alarm system leads to simultaneous operation of all four indexes of turns (and their light indicators on a combination of devices of the car). The alarm system is intended for the warning of other participants of traffic of the compelled stop of the car and is used also in other dangerous situations provided by traffic regulations. For shutdown of the alarm system it is necessary to press the switch button repeatedly.

Activation of the alarm system is made automatically at operation any of safety cushions.

Left top group of switches

Switches of activation of heating of a driver's seat, activation of a cleaner/washer of back glass and shutdown of antistrange system (ESP) enter into the left top group of switches of console section of the dashboard (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on console section of the dashboard).

Switches of activation of heating of a driver's seat

Buttons of the choice of the modes of functioning of heating elements of a driver's seat are built in in the left part of the left top group of switches of console section of the dashboard (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on console section of the dashboard). The principle of activation/deactivation of heating is similar described below for a front passenger seat.

Switches of activation of a cleaner/washer of back glass

The back screen wiper is activated automatically if at the included screenwashes joins (see above) the reverse gear ("R").

Two located one over other button of activation of a cleaner and supply of the washing liquid are located in the central part of the left top group of switches (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on console section of the dashboard). Make sure that ignition is included. For start of a screen wiper in the interval mode press the top push-button switch (1), - the control light-emitting diode which is built in in the panel between buttons of switches has to light up (2). Shutdown of a screen wiper is made by repeated pressing the same button, - the light-emitting diode has to go out.

Switches of activation of a cleaner/washer of back glass

3 — the Button of activation of supply of the washing liquid

Pressing the lower push-button switch (3) makes activation of the pump of supply of the washing liquid on back glass (with simultaneous start-up of a screen wiper), - after the button is released supply of liquid will stop, and the screen wiper will continue functioning within about five more seconds.

Switch of antistrange system (ESP)

The switch of antistrange system (ESP) is located in the central part of the lower number of switches of console section of the dashboard (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on a multipurpose steering wheel). Need for shutdown of the ESP system can arise at the movement with antisliding chains, on deep snow, sand or gravel. At the same time the torque of the engine ceases to be controlled and pro-slipping of driving wheels can make milling impact on soil.

For shutdown of ESP press the top part of a key of the switch, - on a combination of devices the corresponding control lamp has to light up (see the Section Combination of Devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators).

Switch of shutdown of antistrange system (ESP)

For return to the normal mode of the movement it is enough to press the lower part of a key.

Right-wing top group of switches

Switches of activation of the uniform lock, systems of protection against towage and ultrasonic scanning of internal volume, and also heating of the right front seat enter into the left top group of switches of console section of the dashboard (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on console section of the dashboard).

Switch of activation of the uniform lock

The possibility of management of functioning of activators of locks by means of the keyboard switch which is built in in the right top corner of console section of the dashboard is provided (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on console section of the dashboard).

If blocking of locks was made from the DU panel, their unlocking by means of the console switch is not possible. Blocking of locks by means of the console switch can be made only at densely closed all doors of the car.

Switches of activation of heating of the right front seat

The principle of management of heating of a driver's seat is similar described below, buttons of activation ТЭНов are symmetrized in the left top group of switches of console section of the dashboard (see above).

Buttons of the choice of the modes of functioning of heating elements of the right front seat are built in in the right part of the right-wing top group of switches of console section of the dashboard (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Components of Management on console section of the dashboard).

Make sure that ignition is included.

By means of the top button the mode of normal heating is activated, - one red control light-emitting diode burns. The lower button serves for activation of the accelerated heating of a seat, - both red control light-emitting diodes burn.

Switches of the modes of heating of seats

For shutdown of heating press the top button until both control light-emitting diodes do not go out.

Shutdown of heating of seats happens also at an overload of system of a charge or insufficient level of a charge of the rechargeable battery, - in this situation one or both control diodes (depending on the heating chosen the mode) will switch in the flashing mode. After removal of an overload (shutdown of excess consumers of the electric power) heating of seats will be activated automatically.

The switches and governing bodies located on the central console

On the central console of the car such governing bodies as levers of the AT selector and raising of the parking brake, and also switches of management of functioning of system of heating/ventilation of independent action, an additional heater (diesel models) and switchings of the modes of the transfer case are located (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of components of management of AT on the central console).

Switch of the modes of the transfer case

At the parking never leave the transfer case in the N mode, - such habit is accompanied by risk of spontaneous rolling the car under a bias in case of refusal of the parking brake!

The transfer case is equipped with the two-level reducer providing conditions for the movement both in normal conditions (mode "H") and in cross-country conditions (L mode). Also the possibility of blackout of transfer of traction effort to wheels of both bridges of the car is provided (N mode). In both operating modes of a reducer ("N" and "L") the drive is carried out on wheels of both leading bridges. At the same time in the L mode the reducer of the transfer case provides transfer on driving wheels of the car of the increased torque, practically doubling the transfer relation.

Do not forget that increase in traction effort due to increase in the transfer relation is always accompanied by inversely proportional reduction of speed of the movement of the vehicle!


Switch of the modes of the transfer case

The keyboard switch of the modes of the transfer case is located at the left on the slanted back panel of the central console of the car. Activation of the lowering mode has to be made at the working engine installed in situation "N" the lever of the AT selector and at a speed of movement no more than 40 km/h. Press the top ("LOW") part of a key, - the reducer of the transfer case has to switch to the lowering transfer that is followed by highlighting of a letter of "L" in the respective field of the basic page of the multipurpose display of the on-board computer (see the Section Combination of Devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators).

For return to the mode of the normal movement (the mode of the raising transfer) it is necessary to press lower ("HIGH") of a key (the engine has to work, AT is transferred to neutral position, and speed of the movement of the car to make not less than 70 km/h), - in the respective field of the basic page of the multipurpose display of the on-board computer (see the Section Combination of Devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators) the letter of "N" has to be highlighted.

At unsuccessful switching to the screen of the multipurpose display of the on-board computer one of the following messages is output:

Opening of a driver's door of the car at the key left in the ignition lock and the transfer case transferred to situation "N" leads to operation of an alarm buzzer!

The switches located on door panels

Are located on side panels of forward doors the switch of adjustment of provision of front seats, in armrests assemblies of switches of management of functioning of the electric drive of window regulators are built in.

Switches of adjustment of provision of front seats are located on side panels of forward doors. Functioning of the electric drive is possible only in provisions 1 and 2 of the lock of ignition (on some models also in situation 0 at open any of forward doors).

Switches of management of functioning of the electric drive of door window regulators

The electric drive of window regulators functions only at the included ignition.

Individual switches of management of functioning of window regulators are located on each of side doors of the car.

In an armrest of a driver's door the main panel of the centralized control of the electric drive of window regulators of all doors is built in.

Each of switches of the main panel allows to activate the drive of the regulator of a window regulator of the corresponding door. The polzunkovy switch placed in the center of the panel by shift it to the right before emergence of a symbol allows to block in case of need a possibility of activation of regulators of window regulators of back doors from individual door switches, - the pictogram about the image of the little man has to open.

For lowering/lifting of glass it is necessary to wring out slightly the button of the corresponding switch in the necessary direction, - the otpuskaniye of the button will lead to a glass stop. Push-up of the switch with overcoming a point of resistance leads to automatic lowering / lifting of glass of the corresponding door.

If at transfer to the top situation glass encounters resistance, the electric drive of the regulator is immediately blocked, at the same time glass falls a little down, and further keeping of the pressed top part of a key will lead only to lowering of glass in the lower situation.

Also the possibility of lowering and lifting of door glasses from the DU panel of the uniform lock is provided.

Button of an emergency call of the TELE AID system

The button is intended for an emergency communication with the dispatcher of regional rescue service.

Switch of illumination of the luggage compartment

Illumination of the luggage compartment is made by means of the push-button switch (2) which is built in in a back part of the ceiling console. The scheme of an arrangement of back lamps is given below (see an illustration Back saloon lamps are equipped with three-position polzunkovy switches). On the Station wagon models illumination of the luggage compartment is activated automatically when opening a door of a back, at the same time its shutdown from the console switch is not possible. In order to avoid replanting of the rechargeable battery at long leaving of a door of a back of open it is necessary to make shutdown of lamps: press the button of the castle cylinder of the external handle of an open back door, then lower a latch tag down. Removal of blocking is made by repeated pressing the button of the castle cylinder.

In order to avoid damage of the lock do not try to slam a back door at the lowered latch tag!

Switches of the directed individual lamps of forward places

Two push-button switches (3 and 9) (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Switches on the ceiling console and assembly of a saloon rear-view mirror) are located the ceiling console on each side and serve for activation of the side directed lamps providing individual illumination of driver's seats and the forward passenger.

Switch of the choice of the mode of functioning of the main saloon lighting

The keyboard switch (8) which is built in in a forward part of the ceiling console (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Switches on the ceiling console and assembly of a saloon rear-view mirror), has three fixed situation allowing to carry out the choice of one of three modes of functioning of the main saloon lighting.

Mode of automatic activation of saloon lighting

At installation of the switch in average situation illumination of salon (without luggage compartment) is activated automatically in night-time in the following cases:

If to leave to a door open at the key taken from the ignition lock, lighting will be turned off on a timer signal approximately in 30 minutes.

Closing of doors at the key taken from the ignition lock leads to the slowed-down shutdown of lamps. For instant shutdown of lamps it is enough to insert a key into the ignition lock.

Function of the slowed-down shutdown of saloon lighting at the request of the owner of the car can be turned off through system of the menu of the multipurpose display of the on-board computer.

Manual control

In case of need automatically activated lamps can be switched forcibly off by a nazhimaniye on the right part of a key of the switch marked with a symbol.

Pressing the left part of a key marked with a symbol it is possible to activate forcibly saloon lighting even behind closed doors, - for return to the automatic mode transfer a key to average situation.

Remember that function of automatic shutdown does not extend to the directed lamps of individual lighting, - do not forget to switch-off after use them manually (see above, - forward lamps, - below, - back).

Switch of management of functioning of the top lifting and movable hatch (Station wagon model) / folding top (Cabriolet model)

The electric drive of the top hatch / folding top functions only at the included ignition.

The managing director keyboard ползунковый the switch (4) is located in the central part of the ceiling console (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Switches on the ceiling console and assembly of a saloon rear-view mirror).

The Station wagon models with the lifting and movable top hatch

Regular management (from the console switch)

For moving of a cover of the hatch wring out the switch in the direction of arrows (1 or 2).

Push-up of the switch with overcoming a point of resistance allows to make machine translation of a cover of the hatch in the relevant extreme provision.

Lifting and lowering of a cover is made by push-up of the switch in the direction of arrows (3 and 4). The principle of functioning the same, as when moving, i.e. at weak push-up of the switch a cover will move until the key keeps pressed, for automatic transfer of a cover to extreme provisions it is necessary to wring out the switch in the relevant party with overcoming a point of resistance.

The mechanism of the manual drive of the top hatch is located under the panel of finishing of the left back rack in the luggage compartment of the car.

Open a back door, remove a sealant from the relevant party of a doorway and the panel of finishing of the left back rack.

On the models equipped with additional ware compartments it is necessary to turn out previously screws of fastening of back facing of an additional compartment.

Take a face key from a set of the onboard tool, put him on a power shaft of the mechanism and begin to rotate by means of the screw-driver in the relevant party.

The Cabriolet models with folding top

Lowering and lifting of folding top has to be made only after a full stop of the car! During the movement the folding top has to occupy one of extreme (lowered, or lifted) provisions, - watch that during the movement the folding top was reliably blocked!

In order to avoid replanting of the rechargeable battery try to avoid repeated activation of the electric drive of folding top!

The description of procedures of fastening of a protective cover of folding top and installation of a vetrootboynik is given below in the subsection "Protective Cover of Folding Top and Vetrootboynik".

At lifting/lowering of folding top pay attention to the next moments:

Regular management (from the console switch)

Lowering

Make sure that zippers and angular locks of a back folding board are reliably recorded.

Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "P".

Cock the parking brake.

Make sure that ignition is included.

For an otpuskaniye of blocking of folding top it is necessary to turn two blocking levers (1 and 2) located under sun-protection peaks down

Lower sun-protection peaks and develop in specified by shooters of the direction two located under them blocking the lever, - the alarm buzzer confirming the fact of an otpuskaniye of clamps of a roof has to be activated.

Principle of functioning of the switch of control of the electric drive of folding top

Wring out in the direction of an arrow (3) the polzunkovy switch on the ceiling panel and you keep it in this situation until there is a shutdown of an alarm buzzer confirming the end of process of lowering of a roof.

Return the blocking levers located under sun-protection peaks to a starting position.

Lifting

Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "P".

Cock the parking brake.

Make sure that ignition is included.

Lower sun-protection peaks and develop in specified by shooters of the direction two located under them blocking the lever, - the alarm buzzer confirming the fact of an otpuskaniye of clamps of a roof has to be activated.

Wring out in the direction of an arrow (4) the polzunkovy switch on the ceiling panel and you keep it in this situation until the edge of folding top does not stop over a windshield cut.

Order of completion of the procedure of lifting of folding top

5 — the Handle

Pull a roof for the handle (5) so that there was a zashchelkivaniye at least of one of clamps, then return the corresponding blocking lever to a starting position. Then turn the second lever up, - the alarm buzzer has to be disconnected, confirming thereby the fact of a successful completion of process of blocking of a roof.

At failure of the electric drive lifting of folding top can be made manually (see below).

Emergency closing of folding top

Implementation of the procedure will require the help of the assistant.

Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "P".

Cock the parking brake and take a key from the ignition lock.

Make otpuskany blocking of folding top. For an otpuskaniye of blocking of folding top it is necessary to turn two blocking levers (1 and 2) located under sun-protection peaks down

Open the right forward door, release a forward part of a sealant of a doorway from a rack "In" and remove the lower panel of finishing of a rack "In".

Face key turn a head of the emergency valve counterclockwise.

Wring out in the direction specified by an arrow blocking latches on both sides of the car and at the same time pull up and straighten a folding roof. After the roof edge is to tighten to a cut of a windshield it is necessary to work as well as at regular installation of a roof.

Buttons of the device of remote control of the electric drive of garage gate

Push-button switches and control light-emitting diode of a control system of functioning of the electric drive are built in in assembly of a saloon rear-view mirror (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Switches on the ceiling console and assembly of a saloon rear-view mirror).

Switches of back individual saloon lamps

Back saloon lamps are equipped with three-position polzunkovy switches

Polzunkovy switches are built in in assemblies of the back individual saloon lamps located at the left and on the right over many-placed a back seat of the car and have three regular situation. The principle of functioning of switches is similar to the principle of functioning of the switch of the choice of the modes of functioning of the main saloon lighting (see above).
