12.3.6. Removal and installation of the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate the service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see the Section Activation/deactivation of the Service Mode of System of an Emergency Call of TELE AID).
  2. Transfer an adjustable steering column to extreme top situation.
  1. Turn on the auxiliary accumulator and connect it to the regular battery, then disconnect from the last a negative wire.

    7 — the Auxiliary accumulator
    8 — the Plug of a positive wire of the module
    9 — the Plug of a negative wire of the module
    W10 — Grounding of the battery
  1. By means of a suitable wedge release four clamps and remove a facing slip (2).
  2. Turn in situation "0", then remove the handle of the regulator of provision of headlights (except models 463.246/249).
  3. Turn out fixing screws (5).
  4. Having pulled with turn up remove the lower section of finishing of the dashboard from the directing pins (4).
  5. Remove and, without disconnecting an electrical wiring, put aside the module of the switch of correction of the provision of headlights (except models 463.246/249).
  6. By means of a special nozzle (210 589 00 07 00) remove the EIS/EZS (N73) module.
  7. Having given in the direction specified by an arrow, remove the lower section of finishing of the dashboard.
  8. Installation is made upside-down, - at the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) deactivate the service mode of the TELE AID system (see the Section Activation/deactivation of the Service Mode of System of an Emergency Call of TELE AID).
  9. In conclusion make reading of the DTC codes and cleaning of memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
