12.2.28. Removal and installation of a cover of the top hatch

Removal

Design of the aligning core of the top hatch

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove an internal rear-view mirror (see the Part the Equipment of salon).
  2. Remove an internal upholstery of a cover (see the Section Removal and installation of the panel of an upholstery of a cover of the top hatch).
  3. Completely open the hatch.
  4. Turn out fixing screws (5) and remove the left and right directing runners (1).
  5. Close the hatch.
  6. Give fixing nuts (2) at the left and on the right on a cover (4) hatches.
  7. Having given up, uncover (4).
  8. Fill in centering openings the left and right aligning cores (3).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Grease with special paste (001 981 14 51) the left and right sliding captures.
  2. At the top fill a cover (4) in a hatch aperture.
  3. Screw, but do not tighten yet, fixing nuts (2) at the left and on the right.
  4. Press out a cover (4) by means of special nippers (shooter).
  5. Tighten nuts (2) and remove nippers (shooter).
  6. Completely open the hatch.
  7. Grease with special paste (001 981 14 51) the directing runners (1) and tighten them on the regular, without tightening still finally fixing screws (5).
  8. Take the left and right aligning cores (3) and adjust the provision of a cover in an aperture.

It is better to charge performance of adjustment of a cover to specialists of car service.

  1. Finally tighten fixing screws (5) and establish into place an internal upholstery of a cover (see the Section Removal and installation of the panel of an upholstery of a cover of the top hatch).
  2. Establish a rear-view mirror (see the Part the Equipment of salon) and check serviceability of functioning of the drive of the top hatch.
