10.8. Removal and installation of the ABS/4-ETS hydromodulator

ABS/4-ETS hydromodulator

For release models 463.250/333 for 30.09.01.

Details of installation of the ABS hydromodulator on release models 463.250/333 for 30.09.01.

1 — Brake lines
2 — the Socket
3 — Nipple nuts of the hydromodulator

4 — Nipple nuts of GTTs
A7/3 — Gidromodulyator ABS/4-ETS

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate the service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see the Section Activation/deactivation of the Service Mode of System of an Emergency Call of TELE AID).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary accumulator and connect it to the regular battery, then disconnect from the last a negative wire.

    7 — the Auxiliary accumulator
    8 — the Plug of a positive wire of the module
    9 — the Plug of a negative wire of the module
    W10 — Grounding of the battery
  1. Release nipple nuts (3 and 4) and disconnect brake lines (1), - prepare for collecting hydraulic liquid.
  2. Disunite the socket (2) electrical wirings of the hydromodulator (A7/3) and remove the last from a basic arm, - in case of need prepare replaceable landing rubber plugs.
  3. Installation is made upside-down, - try not to mix an order of connection of brake lines.
  4. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) deactivate the service mode of the TELE AID system (see the Section Activation/deactivation of the Service Mode of System of an Emergency Call of TELE AID).
  5. In conclusion make reading of the DTC codes and cleaning of memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).

ABS/4-ETS hydromodulator

For models 463.250 with the B02 code

1 — Hydraulic lines
2 — the Socket
3 — the grounding Tire

4 — Fasteners
A7/3 — Gidromodulyator ABS/4-ETS

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect hydraulic lines (1).
  3. Disunite the socket (2) electrical wirings of the hydromodulator (A7/3), disconnect the tire of grounding (3).
  4. Release fixture (4) and, having given up, remove the modulator (A7/3).
  5. Installation is made upside-down.
  6. In conclusion pump over the brake system (see the Section Pumping of the Brake System).

ESP hydromodulator

For release models 463.246/249/323 and 463.250/333 since 30.09.01.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  3. Disunite the socket (5) of the sensor switch of pressure.
  4. Remove the modulator (A7/3) from a basic arm, - in case of need prepare replaceable landing rubber plugs.
  5. Installation is made upside-down, - try not to mix an order of connection of brake lines.
  6. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) deactivate the service mode of the TELE AID system (see the Section Activation/deactivation of the Service Mode of System of an Emergency Call of TELE AID).
